My name is Ilona Ciunaite. I am a guide, an author, and a co-creator of the Liberation Unleashed community. If you are interested in all things awakening, this podcast is for you. You are welcome to join the next one. working with so many people over many years I always ask this one question in the beginning everyone is what are you looking for precisely it always comes back to the same answer doesn't matter which form what's in front of it the behind of it is always peace peace it's kind of something that we know that is calling but there is no finding it and not knowing how to get there even though we hear this that it's already here you're already that you're already complete god is peace god is

love somehow it's very difficult to find it in experience because of the turbulence of the mind and what's going on in in life and the situations and all that so back in 2011 I started practicing with this

question a very simple question which was mind are you at peace I'm asking that question you really get an answer you know if the mind is at peace or no it kind of says yes or no or just try it now mind are you at peace just for yourself so you

You may say yes you may say no but you can hear it you get the answer in your

experience so then the next question came in and said "Are you ready for

peace?" Again it's either yes or no either expansion or contraction either relaxation or getting more into a

knot and if the answer is yes it's very simple the next question is are you ready right now that kind of opens the final door and then everything can just fall back into that

peace can check that for yourself

it's like there are three gates wanting peace willingness to go to peace readiness for peace and readiness now that's all that's it that's the shortest way possible to get into that peace right but it can be kind of complicated and quite a long journey to get to these three questions in such a straightforward way you see it see can be answer no I'm not a peace or no I'm scared of peace i don't want freedom so we kind of work with these energies then and see what arises and meet them and inquire what they want respecting and honoring everything that comes in so this is deep looking in the shell finding peace going straight forward for it and seeing what

happens so deep looking evolved from these three questions

and I invite you everyone just to play with these three questions every day i did that for maybe a couple of weeks and everywhere I was I was walking working cooking playing doing anything i was always asking mind are you at peace right now just to check in and see it's kind of acknowledging the mind that it can have a choice also so easy to get dragged into all these stories into the old records it's too easy but just asking mind I see you here you are i know you're here and I just want to know if you are at peace right now kind of short circuits that old programming so something new can come out something new can transpire that ability and possibility for that greater peace

so is that piece here with you right now you can share if you like we can get there if you like whatever you want

are you low enough hi hi well one thing that disturbs my peace is when I get irritated yes and I get not often but quite often it's just stupid things and towards my husband like really ridiculous stuff and I try to look at it but I cannot I can't do it myself yeah yeah i hear you and you know most most methods let's say or you know you need somebody else to help you with that that's okay what I like about deep looking is that you can do it yourself uh it just takes a lot of practice but it's definitely something you can do for yourself because you already have your mind you already have everything that is coming up here it's just establishing the the connection with that by recognizing that it's here so let's go a little bit through this with you and let's meet that irritation so you can experience that and then you know how to how to deal with it how to meet it okay so I I invite you to close your eyes and take a deeper breath settling in recognizing that you are safe that we are here now there's this beautiful support by everyone in the group kind of multiplies the support for all of us so it's a safe place everything's welcome and let's invite the irritation you can think some thoughts that bring the irritation up normally you just think about whatever mind likes to think about and let's feel that just bring that in the body see how it feels and where it's in the body that sense of irritation

it's both in my stomach and my chest mhm okay in the stomach and in the chest well let's acknowledge that energy now saying I see you're welcome here welcome welcome thank you for coming you are

loud sorry I tried to get rid of you i just didn't know what to do with

you welcome

feel that energy you can be as you are you're allowed to be as you are you're valid thank you for everything you're doing for me and I honor [Music]

you you can

be You can be irritated all you want it's okay

and now just check with

yourself is it okay to feel it

it is okay is it safe to feel it yes it's safe so it's no need to try to get rid of or run away from it no more like I feel stupid that I get irritated or like overwhelming or then I the irritation comes to towards me instead mhm

but that part that wants to be irritated can it be irritated just allow it it's already is all right yeah well tell it you can if you want to feel irritated here you go you can be yes you are you're allowed you're included you're valid

maybe for my mind or for my conscious mind it seems like it's not a big deal or something stupid but for that energy is something

important is it okay for it to be irritated

not really no okay so it's not

allowed let's hear from that

energy say "Oh your energy in the belly in the chest what do you want the most what do you want the

most?" Be free of it be free okay ask "Are you ready to be free

it is but I can't get how however okay that's okay as long as it's ready doesn't need to know how or when or what what needs to happen i don't know it only needs to be willing and ready

oh my cat destroyer the plant destroyer is back

oh it's

allowed welcome welcome destroy my plants it's

okay okay so let's ask that energy just feel that belly and feel the heart and say "Are you ready to be free right now?" All it takes is to be ready are you ready right now

very joyful yeah yeah your cat may be

hot happy

I think about cat every time

how is the belly feeling now very in the heart it's good yeah think about those silly things that

Yeah it's back again it's back at it it's coming here to irritate now it's my plan

okay

a lot better thank you you're very welcome

yeah all these little things they just want acknowledgement and they want to be free free means peace

means peace

it's a lot easier with you than do it yourself well true that's true and it's not just me it's the whole group that is supporting the movement of energy

okay the cat destroyer needs to go now i think the cat destroyers the plan destroy a moment i'll let her out

Anna okay what else is in the way of what else is disturbing obstructing or not allowing the peace to be present

who would like to

share i wanted to share something

except the dog decided to show up now and she's distracting um when I asked the question mind are you at peace and do you want peace you want peace right now

of uncertainty and

um I

can't it's like all over it's just like um a fear mhm

and I also realized that what the story that's um that's being built or like what's needed mentally it's totally unreasonable like it's not attainable but it's imagined to be the uh what's needed for there to be peace like it's totally something external nothing that's felt inside because what's felt inside is uncertainty and some kind of fear but I can't find it like

um it seems like everything's always shrouded in a energy of sadness but it is what it is it is what it is it doesn't need to look any different

so yes on one way there is wanting for peace it's deep yearning and longing for peace and there can be fear as well with that can be sadness with that so whatever comes in it's just whatever comes

in so if I ask you are you are you ready for this deep peace deep peace and freedom to be as you are are you ready for that

yes right now yes here we go it's right now right now

i feel like I'm shutting down like I don't want to look i think I'm just feeling really vulnerable because I'm with people but what shows up is longing

okay yes there is that longing that's that longing is like a a letter from beyond saying "Oh waiting for you when are you coming so good here we miss you what are you doing there come home home is waiting for you." That's the

longing and when you receive that message you can say yes or no yes or

no so what if you say yes it's okay yes I want to be at peace deeply or this longing because it's definitely here

so let's meet that

longing tell I see you you're welcome here you are allowed and thank you so much for calling thank you so much for letting me know that something is calling i hear

it say "Now take me where you want me to go take me show me what you might want me to feel to see to experience i'm here and it's following that longing giving it full attention don't need to do anything just hold it in your attention let it take you allow it to take you draw you in

just feels like grief

let's welcome that grief allow that grief in tell it I see you i see you i welcome you you can be here to you're

allowed show yourself fully

can you ask that grief that energy say "What do you want the most what do you want the most

yes peace it wants peace yeah oh say so sweet thank you grief i agree i agree and ask it are you ready for peace

it's just like a holding on like it's not possible well let's see let's find out so would that be okay to find out

no no

okay then what do you want me to know ask the grief what do you want me to

know i think it's part of that disappointment showing up it's like I can't bear the disappointment of looking and looking and never find it

and what are you looking for let's ask it what are you looking for what do you want to find

peace

okay ask it what were you before you took this form

peace ah so it's not like you can find it outwardly or somewhere else or something needs to happen it's remembering coming back to the natural

state and that happens by removing all the obstacles by meeting all everything every little contraction that is in the way of that peace

so let's ask the energy would that be okay to just go little by little step by step doesn't matter how long it takes or where it leads

would that be okay yeah yeah that would be just little steps

i'll ask it are you ready to take a little step yeah right now

are you ready right now yes yes oh wonderful say okay thank you so much thank you so much tell you are free you're free and you can undo yourself if you want

can come back to natural state natural form natural function natural size whatever feels most natural ordinary comfortable just being as you are now feel into that energy you don't need to do anything just feel that's it feeling it fully letting it be just this light whisper you're free you're already free

you're already free

take a deep breath

in breathe

out oh I can see that

um that I don't know how to put this into words but it's like full

acceptance of grieving like

um like the unwinding or whatever

is having the capacity to truly say you can stay here forever and leave it yeah i don't think I've really done that i would say it with words but I don't think I really felt

it and now it's like uh recognizing that it's um that everything is free and this is free to

express just to feel

whatever some somehow

that that somehow feels more painful

yeah there is space for everything you know that you know that that there is space enough space for everything everything can come and go or stay whatever they want it's not

you yeah and

um it can be it can be taken wrongly that it's not you that means you don't need to feel it no you feel it you fully feel it

it's not you means you don't need to run away from it anymore or deny it or hide from it it's not you means it's allowed it's allowed it's a guest a visitor it's not a permanent entity or something that it's fixed it's just passing by

so yes accepting it allowing it honoring it letting it

be acknowledging it

by giving attention that it's been craving that it's been longing for so

long yeah that feels really nice that feels right

like the tension that he's been craving

so that longing was coming it feels really

um Yeah

can you check with the longing is that longing how is the longing energy

doing um I don't feel it

no I feel um I feel something in my heart like um I'm finding uh difficult finding words if I go to my head to try to describe it it just kind

of somehow it loses its richness

like I think I'll just sit with this okay well thank you so much thank you Mom yeah it's good to finally meet that longing wonderful thank

i'm

good um I'm feeling stuck i don't know what should I do or what I'm doing it feels like I'm [Music] compromising with the selfrespect

and what are you looking

for clarity

okay let's just feel into this energy of stuck let's allow that energy of stuck to be here okay

what do you feel it in the body when you think I'm stuck where is that energy in the body stomach in the stomach

okay can we allow it to be there just allow it let it be it's okay it's safe can you tell that energy I see you i acknowledge you you're here you're okay you're allowed you can be

and check for yourself is it safe to feel it

is it safe to feel that energy yes it is safe great can you ask the energy what do you want the

most and just see what arises from it i think it says back

approval uh say again i didn't catch that approval

approval okay sorry okay approval well tell it I approve you i approve you you are preapproved i approve you you can be here you're

valid give it a hug give it a hug now hold it and say "Well welcome home you can be here you can stay here as long as you

want you're okay."

yeah how is that energy feeling now

okay ask it do you want anything else is there anything else you want tell me or show me

freedom freedom say "Okay I agree." That's nice i agree and say "Are you ready for

freedom?" Cat wants to get out

yes yes and say "Are you ready right now?" Right now

yes yes wonderful i'll tell it you know what you are already free you're already free feel free to self adjust come back to your natural state natural form natural density and size and function come back to your most comfortable natural state feel free and feel it just feel it you don't need to do anything just

i have a lot of energy going on and um I don't know what is that probably you can help me look into that energy it's it's tons of energy but uh it's not

personal but uh that's not a comfortable energy to have it's kind of lot of pressure on the head side and it's really begging me to look um but I don't know what to look for and uh it's between uncomfortable to whatever but it's been asking me to look into that i tried when Lara was speaking I was actually trying to look into that energy but I didn't get any answer for that well thank you so much for bringing this up

let's acknowledge this one thing

that feeling uncomfortable is

okay it's safe to feel uncomfortable

i guess every uncomfortable sensation wants to come back to the natural state so when it's uncomfortable it's calling for

attention and it's safe this one thing just knowing that it's safe to feel uncomfortable can be a huge shift

so when you feel uncomfortable it's a sign a confirmation that something is ready to move something is ready so yay to that yay let's feel okay so let's invite this uncomfortable energy

here and where is it in the body can you find it in the body

where is it yes um it's behind my head um uhhuh here it's kind of lot of pressure uhhuh um yeah i'll tell it hello hello there i see you you're here i acknowledge you and there is enough space for you

here you're very welcome and you're valid and welcome and you can

be and it's safe for me to feel you and it's safe for you to be

here you can be as you are

i say I'm I'm I'm quite curious here what do you want the most

i want to be free [Laughter]

yes say thank you so much i agree i agree i agree and you have so much yes

so much free right now

oh so much thank you isn't it amazing like when we just come to the energy gently and kindly and affirm it and acknowledge it it always says "I want to be free."

Yes you're right Ela it was begging me to look but something inside me was telling this is very uncomfortable don't go there just do something else like the mind is trying to distract rather than like not even giving like a second attention to that calling um I've been avoiding that but talking with you somehow the focus comes there and the same uncomfortable energy like says like no I'm good I'm free I'm happy I is gone thank you you're welcome yeah it's good to notice these mechanisms of the mind because it's been used to try to fix uncomfortable get rid of it deny it run away from

it do all the tricks it's like a whole circus there how to not look where attention is being called to look i still being called to look anyway so it's like all right I give up let's see what's there finally i just I only want peace here you go that's it the trick works by the mind saying that this is really uncomfortable don't go there but once we are willing to go beyond that as you said like what is wrong in being uncomfortable uh when that question comes then the surrendering happens at that point i see that yeah yeah

so we can see that the mind's um unconscious mechanisms kick in which is doing exactly the same like always but then there is this a little opening which is called willingness willingness oh maybe I'm willing to see what's there that willingness itself and then there's readiness okay I'm ready it's kind of two little simple subtle things but they play a huge part in this the willingness and readiness and then there's agreement or permission

yeah it's very interesting how it is very scary to go to that part though the uncomfortableness and then being ready to actually look into that that is also a fear and scary

thing somehow it's easy when you're here and talking with you somehow it's easy but but I I see that mhm yeah so when you do it on yourself or by yourself you can always know that whatever contraction is here that is like this it only wants to be free it doesn't want I don't know what houses cars money jewelry it doesn't want any material things it just wants to be open to free itself

and another important thing is that it's safe to look at it doesn't matter how it shows up what it appears to be even if the fear comes in it is still safe to feel it how do they know you felt so many emotions in your lifetime and you are still here alive and you're okay so doesn't matter how intense or horrible or wonderful emotion is it's a temporary passing of energy and it's

safe so it's safe for it to to be seen to be felt to be experienced so we can open up and return to its natural state which is freedom

okay well there's another one thing that is Part of this unfolding or undoing or unlearning is courage courage and the courage is already here you are here i'm here we all kind of exploring it with no fear so this courage is already part of it as um if it wasn't for courage we wouldn't be here

so just seeing how many little conditions or how how this mind is working to open up the contractions

um there's a lot exhaustion here

fear that just feels exhausting or [Music] um what it is but there's just a lot of resistance to it

what do you feel all this energy in the body right now

my chest i think you think or you sure can you just check to be sure

there's just there's a heaviness there but there's also a heaviness in my head and just feel completely

drained okay let's be gentle with this energy in the heart and in the in the chest and in the head let's be very gentle and tell it you're welcome here and I'm sorry I've been rejecting you or resisting you i just didn't know i'm

sorry let's invite it closer so that you can be here you're violet you're loud you're welcome

not this is it safe to feel it

doesn't really feel safe even though I know that's not true it's not true that it's safe that it's unsafe it's okay say it again is it safe to feel it

just say as it is it doesn't need to be any different way there's no right answer wrong answer it's just noticing so whatever you notice is is okay it's

fine we want to welcome all parts all included

yeah there's definitely something that does not feel safe okay okay tell it i hear you i hear you come closer you can come out a little bit just let me see

you and that's that part and what do you want the most what are you longing for

the words that keep coming and this sounds terrible but it says it wants to die he wants to die okay okay i'll say thank you i hear you and what would that give you what would that give you

what would that freedom I guess freedom maybe peace as well

yeah see it doesn't want to die it just wants to be free and at peace yeah see I hear you it's okay yeah i agree freedom and peace sounds wonderful ask it are you ready for freedom and peace tell me you don't have to die you can just be free and at peace right now if you want to are you

ready i know it feels like it's gone now like it's you know feel like I'm back in the thoughts about it mhm just so tired something so tired oh what's tired let's bring that part up who's there that is so

tired where do you feel that tiredness or this tired energy in your body where is it now

it's all over really my head my arms still tightness in the chest as well mhm oh see thank you for showing up you're valid and you're welcome and you can be here and are you are you willing to rest

are you willing to rest

i don't know it's just everything feels stuck i think I'll have to just sit with it awesome okay well it's either yes or no is it willing or no it's okay if it says no that's fine that's fine

it wasn't really saying anything oh maybe it's resting already can you check check maybe let's check just check is that energy resting a little bit already relax and

resting you don't need to do anything just watch

yeah there's just like something that does feel like he needs to do something figure it out fix it mhm there's just a lot of stuff running around today seems like Yeah such a storm

well let's tell it it's not your job to fix anything you're not broken life is not broken the universe is working everything's exactly as it needs to be in the right place in the right time in the right way [Music]

no okay okay well ask it then what is your job can you enlighten us what is your job exactly what are you doing

here talking to that part that wants to fix everything

what's your job it seems like it's protecting something uhhuh i'll say thank you for

protect thank you for all your love and care and being such a great protector from all your work you're doing thank you so

much you have been a great help protecting acknowledge you

saying "How is it going?" How is it going

yeah something's just fed up sick of it sick of trying all right is it working that protection is it helping is it working it's useful can you ask that energy to check don't need to do anything again just allow it to do [Music]

it well it feels like it's been useful it's been useful it's been the one that's been holding everything together oh wow that's a big job holding everything together i know right but it's not true it doesn't have to do that doesn't it's not what's really happening right well let's give it a big acknowledgement and bow and honor it it has taken such a big job it's been trying so hard mhm m and at some point it really helped it wouldn't be here it really helped but something forgot to tell it to go

home so ask it what do you want the most

yeah freedom rest yes it's ready ready okay ask are you ready right now right

now don't know

it's just silence okay maybe it's already resting just check

yeah it was a little a little lighter okay let's just rest with it let it rest okay yeah just stay with it like you're okay my dear friend old friend you've been working so hard you can rest right now you're free you're free to rest as deeply and as long as you want you're free to come back to your natural state natural form natural function size density volume you're

free i notice you don't need to do

anything self releases it knows how to

rest all we can do is just hold it gently in

attention whispering "You are free you're free you're already

free just reminding it of a truth of its

own

being thank you

you and how's your chest feeling right now

chest feels less tight but yeah it's still really tired mhm sunday today isn't it you can rest maybe can you yeah okay yeah i'm going to try you know sometimes this this tiredness it just says the body needs a break give me a break mhm yeah but then when the mind is wound up or the body cannot rest so it's good to to ask the mind always are you are you at peace right now do you want to be at peace you're welcome to be at peace yeah

thank you yeah that sort of fear of resting sometimes i mean not I mean all the time often it's here

it's it's a peculiar place because feeling good and at ease it's natural that that's what we are that's what we are meant to be right but there may be so many strange and weird beliefs around that that it's impossible to feel at ease for a longer time because the old uh programming kicks in with this whatever nonsense that it believes for example if I feel joyful at ease happy I will miss something important so I can't be even at ease for a long time or it's not safe because I will be something bad will happen i will be thrown out of this wonderful place or it will end or whatever whatever beliefs are there so the the system is protecting itself from feeling disappointment and from feeling shocked back into tension but look at that it is safe to feel

safe it's it's it's a big one to know that it is safe to feel what you feel and even bigger is to know that it is safe to feel

safe so you can check for yourself like is it is it safe to feel safe is that is that obvious so if there is any resistance or something that come says no they can look at

that in life many things happen uh situations come When people come in things break and all kinds of stuff happens so by anticipating the worst or by anticipating the bad uncomfortable you're not going to stop these things from happening so it doesn't matter you feel safe or you don't feel safe things still happen but it matters because if I am safe right now and I know that I can enjoy that and I will be ready and rested and happy to deal with whatever situation comes in when it comes

in so feeling scared or anticipating danger or feeling that bad things will happen thereof I cannot feel safe it's kind of robbing you of your experience of enjoying this moment so it doesn't matter if you feel safe or you don't feel safe [ __ ] happens basically mhm mhm

and you know whatever you're feeling now it will pass whether it's wonderful or terrible it will

pass so when it's great why not enjoy it when it's not great you still know it will pass mhm

yeah you know that period of awakening or life in general or when you feel like you are in a cosmic washing machine and everything is being thrown at you in high volume of intensity and it feels like it's too much i can't take this anymore and it's just life wanting you to give up all the holding all the holding like there's nothing to hold on to there's nothing to grasp to grasp and hold it's it's an invitation to let go of everything that is being held on

to in other words this is this washing machine is here for freedom it's going to wash anyway it's going to take away anyway whether you are holding on to it or letting it go easily it makes a difference in everyday life but what needs to fall away or what needs to finish or end or leave it will leave anyway

yep the period is tough and you know all we can do is say I give up i give up

let it happen whatever needs to be can be and whatever processes need to go free to go okay

yeah trying yeah i've been there i know not once not so much

i had a question [Music] um okay i'm kind of scared to ask this but the the other ladies uh Jasmine and Laura they had similar themes and they gave me courage to ask um the grief spoke to me and the feeling of not having safety spoke to me too um what comes up is uh what's what's the two themes that are that are wanting it's love and safety and I've been trying to tap into um this idea of uh universal love um and even with like the working with the energies of nonduel conceptually I understand that love can't come from external like there's nothing you can't give something expecting it back that there's no lack here but there seems to be energetically this blockage of um not feeling enough love in here and this and the the there's this longing for wanting to feel safe and you said something that actually it made me cry because you said it it's what did you say it's okay to feel unsafe or I I can't remember what you said but but to me that triggered something like because not feeling safe is it's tied into there's something wrong like if I feel unsafe that means it it's like this is alarm bells something's wrong but you said it's okay not to feel comfortable or not to feel safe it's safe to feel not safe and that that's causing um like I'm I'm getting that message in two different ways like the mind and the and the energy or like how does that how can they both exist so it's the love and the safety that are um yeah oh well thank you so much for bringing this up and thank you for your courage yeah this is widely spread this is so much happening

everywhere so thank you for that for bringing this up thank you okay so yes it is safe to feel even unsafe because our en our emotions or energy is just that it's energy it's coming here for attention it's coming here to be

felt it's not here to do any harm or punish or make you uh I don't know what can happen if you feel it's here to be felt it comes for your attention for your love for acceptance

allowing yeah because it wants to be free that's all we want w want to be free at

ease okay so I invite you now to just check in the body an emotion is is something felt in the

body really in the body where is that energy that is calling for attention just let attention go there naturally so now where's the energy oh it's all in the heart the whole chest the whole chest okay let's acknowledge that energy here can you say thank you for coming up i acknowledge you are

here you're allowed to be here you're welcome to be here

violet and there is enough space for you here and it is safe for you to be here yeah show yourself show yourself fully it's

okay and just for yourself check is it safe to feel it

yes so let's give it a minute to just be tell it you can be as you are you're

allowed and thank you for everything you're doing for

me take a deep breath in breathe

out and ask that energy and what do you want the most

love and safety uhhuh say I agree yes that sounds good tell it you are safe here look at that you're already safe here

let me hold you give it a hug a hug nice big soft hug yes yes yes you are
